Writing Prompts!

Here, have some writing prompts to get you in the groove of writing! Use the quote or setting and write something - anything! It doesn't matter what you write as long as you start writing and don't stop!

If I were a color...

I wouldn't be red because red is bold. Red stands out. Red is the color of lipstick that women wear to make their teeth look whiter. No, I wouldn't be red because red is loud.

I wouldn't be blue because blue is soft. Blue is wistful like the breeze that blows into my car windows, stays only for a moment or two at most, and leaves soon after.

If I were a color, I'd be beige. Beige, while mostly boring, has staying power and the ability to blend in. However, beige is a color that can easily be painted over when a bolder color is desired, but can return when the bolder color is chipped and peeled away - like autumn trees shed their brightly colored leaves in preparation for winter.
